EdVenture Winter Camps offer a unique camp experience for children during their time in Niseko, Japan. The program is designed to allow children and mentors to make the most of the incredible powder snow, both on and off the mountain, all whilst building confidence, learning new skills and having fun.

About the Role

As a Bus Driver and Facilities Staff member, you'll provide safe and reliable transportation for guests while also assisting with facilities maintenance, such as snow clearing, light cleaning, set up, pack down and light maintenance. You'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of vehicles.
• Assist with facilities maintenance and upkeep as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Work closely with other team members to support overall operations.
• You will assist with housekeeping and general upkeep to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all campers.

Key Qualities

• Comprehensive driving experience in medium to large vehicles (20+ seaters) in adverse weather conditions
• The ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in transportation and facilities maintenance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Japanese or other languages are a plus.

Salary

• ¥1,800 - ¥2,100 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
• Late-November until early April
• Depending on customer demand and reservations, working hours can range anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. You will have at least one full day off each week.  (6-8 Hours per day, up to 6 days per week)
