Hi! My name is Laurie and I have been teaching skiing for 20+ years now and am still as passionate about winter sports as I was when I first started. I am originally from the UK, but after spending time in European and Australian resorts, I came to Japan and discovered the Niseko snow. I have been here for over 10 years now and am happy to call Niseko my home year-round. I look forward to showing you all that Niseko and the surrounding areas have to offer you to make the most of your stay.

I moved to Niseko for the access to mountains and nature, as a trail runner and outdoor enthusiast it is the ultimate location! Hello, I'm Hiroki! I’m originally from Kobe but moved to Hokkaido in 2022 to escape the heat. My favorite part about Hokkaido is the amount of snow where I can enjoy snowboarding outside of work. I started working as an Outdoor guide in 2022 and since have worked with School groups in Australia, at a Summer Camp in America and most recently with EdVenture here in Hokkiado for the last Summer and Winter. G’day! I’m Maddie (or Mads). I’m from Sydney, Australia, and after years of chasing Japan’s “pow”, I moved to Niseko for the 2025/26 winter season & quickly fell in love with the town, now excited for Hokkaido’s summer. I’ve explored Japan, from Hateruma Island to Hokkaido, and love being outdoors in every season; snowboarding, hiking, canyoning, or any new adventure (you name it!). I’ve worked with children for the past few years and love creating a safe, supportive space where they can build confidence, try new things, and have fun outside. Looking forward to a summer of adventure, teamwork, muddy shoes, and plenty of laughs with you!

Hi! My name is Guadi and I was born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina. I started teaching skiing at 16 years old in Bariloche and have since worked as an instructor in Lake Tahoe, Aspen, Colorado, and most recently Niseko, Japan. Over the past few years I’ve also had the opportunity to live and travel through different countries, including Greece, Italy and Spain, experiences that have taught me the value of connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. What first drew me to Niseko was its unique combination of incredible mountains, community, and harmony with nature. I love helping people build confidence through outdoor adventures, and I believe being surrounded by mountains, trees, and rivers is a privilege we should never take for granted.
